hi guys is it worth buying ex army gear as in goretex jackets and trouseres are they better than deer hunter ect as i found a site and its cheap as chips any veiws ?

ive always used the ex army gear mate some of it will be no good in a week or so and some will last you years.but i suppose at the end of the day you get what you pay for. but when your on a budget and need some gear for scratting around ferreting etc it does the job. atb mart

just make sure you know what your buying mate,i see a lot of people wearing nbc suits like a jacket/smock round here.

 

if you get the right kit its better than anything else you can buy,its tough,durable and most importantly battle tested.

if it performs the function of camming the wearer,not falling apart and allowing free movement while fighting a war im sure it can do it mooching about in some brambles.

i bought a van load knocked it out cheap to fishing and shooting lads sold 3,000 items in 2 sundays --- i`ve always used it , its cheap and does the job
