.22 rimfire silencers

im after opinions on what the best .22 rimfire silencers are, heard the parker hale moddys are good but wanted to get other opinions.

I use a SAK it cost me about £30 last year, they are not the quietest but not far off. As I say there are others which are marginally quieter but the price difference is so great that for a bunny bashing tool I could not justify the higher spend.

i have a logun on my 14 inch barrel annie. and its very good.

 

there all pretty good though when shooting sub ammo. there isn't a lot of difference in them all.

SAK mate, I have one on my CZ and it cost £30. With Winchester X Sub Sonics the hammer makes more noise than the round does. Shot 2 cubs at 45 yards a week ago didn,t even know I was there.

I have a parker hale mate and it does the job with Winchester superx subs

Same here CZ rimfire parker hale mod with Winchester super X subs can't fault it .

My opinion only, but I have had both, the SAK is the 'best', the Parker Hale is fine in terms of it being a 'silencer' but it's too long

and too heavy when compared to the SAK, you can get both in black or silver, both are strippable, but the SAK is just that little bit better

in all departments.

Also I had a 17 Whisper on a 17HMR I had, but they make it for .22 also, this was was a superb bit of kit, BUT it was £125.00 and it was NOT

better than the SAK in relation to it's function as a 'silencer'. So if you've got £125.00 to spend and you like quality then the Whisper is the

best, but really the £35 SAK is just as good.

which would you go for on the 17hmr as i think my sak is still a bit loud
