porkypowell 2
Hi, I fancy a deerhoudxgreyhound I need a dog which can work with ferrets and bushing with the occasional nights lamping for bunnies and fox (if I miss it with the shotgun). The fox ability should not be a problem with deerhound but are they quick enough in the day on bushed rabbit and have they enough intelligence to be trained to a high level of obedience. I am not looking to insult any deerhoundx owners. My previous dogs have been colliex`s so my first choice would be a 3/4 greyhound 1/4 collie. Other factors are putting pressure on my choice (boss & kids). And the deerhoundx`s win on the looks front every time for me . Simon Edited February 24, 2007 by porkypowell 1 Quote Link to post
