fireman 10,871
Hope you don't mind but how am i dong on the colour feeding on my clear greenie mule? and please tell me if i'm messing it up big time,i'm feeding all my colour fed birds the same as allways but the goldie mules she is in with have gone very red but these two birds were stripped of 90% of the feathers by the hen bird before they left the nest so they have sort of missed the young plumage and moulted into near as dam it there adult plumage. So i'm wondering if i'm colour feeding to much????. Meroman 105
Judging by the photo's they are still taking the colour so continue as you are doing until the end of the moult, even though the hen plucked them they will moult out again and the colour should be even throughout...
