Dog Attacked

Recommended Posts

1rst of all go and slap staffy owner f*****g tits to try and blame someone else when theyre clearly in the worng.Your dog will heal fine im sure and will run again seen dogs in a lot worse states run again just keep it clean if it looks gooey or smells back to the vet.You brothers a better man than me last dog that flew at my lad who is muzzled nearly got strangled with the dog lead shouting my dogs ok lol eh well it seems to be embedded in my dogs neck so i donty think so.Id be telling them your paying my vets bills or a report the incident simple as that and make it clear you wont be so nice next timethat could have been an old lady with a dog getting bit trying to defend the dog.for future ref though choking is the most effective way to get them to let go of the other dog

Ok I'll indulge you, it's the summer silly season Do you actually think you could choke a bull dog off another dog?.

If you can then the dog isn;t worthy of the title bulldog or you've got arms like popeye.

Don't listen to people who say that the dog is unlikely to run again: I've seen much worse on my own dogs, and they have healed fine. Obviously the bruising is a concern, and yes, the wound could brea

staff's are on another level excluding apbt's of course. I'm not condoning what the staff did but its what it was bred to do. The fault lies at the handlers feet.

yeah mate that'll do the breeds involved image a world of good plastered on the front of the echo. why even blame the dog?   it should imo be pts but only because most people couldnt care for it pr

choking the dog? a breaking bar is what you need, failing that...... (cant say some of the other ways of removing a bull breed on open forum)

Done it with a staffy that attached itself to my bitches face wrapped the rope lead round the very top of its neck and swung for dear life took a while but it did eventually let go.Failing that a heavy object over the head.I wouldnt think twice if a dog attacks my dog the lab x thing that sunk its teeth into storm got botted right up the arse and owner went mad.She was swiftly told it comes at him again the muzzles off and her dog will be a mess im sick and tired off folks walking dogs off lead round here that shouldnt be off lead theyre agressive or plain f*****g nasty.hence why i muzzle mine he has no time for dogs like that and will react like a bomb going off andoff course it always his fault cos hes a big killer hunting dog.Yet hes not interested if they stay out of his way his temp is quick and he is verocious and near impossible to stop so i take precautions to be sure that i dont have shit at the door.He met a terrier off lead yesterday and i roared thinking uh oh and he stopped no problem he works with other dogs including terriers and never an issue because all the dogs are kept under control. My bitch wrecked the neighbours dog after it jumped into the back of their dads car all over the kids my dog flipped cos kids were screaming and owners fluffing around like a tit she always does that well keep it on a lead then seems simple enough. There is only 2 people who currently handle my dogs me and my mate Andy cos hes very good with them and can handle them properly and knows storm inside and out now that way i know my dogs are safe which is my priority seems a lot of owners dont give a toss or just too thick to understand what can and no doubt will happen at some point then its always the breed that gets the blame

well this thread certainly turned into a slagging match,as for you blan thats a f*****g horrible thing to say to anyone, having said that i dont know why im shocked.I honestly think your not all there.

I for one wont change my mind.I do not like staffies never have.f*****g dodgy as f**k.im sure there are a few out there who are good dogs, but from all the ones i have ever had the misfortune of encountering, have been total f*****g unruly menaces.ill say it again.id be happy man if they banned the f*****g lot of them.

like i said before if you didnt break your lurcher to stock and then it killed/attacked a sheep who's fault would that be yours for not training or securing it, or the dogs?

I think you know the answer, this dog was just doing what its ancestors were bred to do,just as a running dog who accidently gets off lead near a hare is only doing what its ancestors were bred to do.

considering hunting all but 2 types of mammals with dogs is illegal now I think we can justify making running dogs illegal,or at very least making it illegal to own running dogs over a certain height.

in fact lets just ban all dogs, they can all be dangerous, why would anyone want freedom when the government can look after us all?

Maybe dog attacks on other dogs and people should be put on a national register so we can work out which breeds are doing what.

Even if it is the owner and not the dog then don't give the scum bag a chance of own such an animal.

Looking at the cases we see on this thread, licensing would probably be the best solution, I can't see an owner with good intentions having that bigger problem with it.

Dog fighting was banned in the 1800`s so any fighting blood should be long lost. They should be nothing more than family pets now, as many are, until total dickhead owners who get hold of them or any other of the Bull breeds and think they like being hit constantly teased, encouraged to bite down on things and swung around by only the stregnth in there jaws, and baited to passing dogs on the street.Just to componsate for there own masculinity. Personally I believe that any bull breed should be liscenced, and a minimum age of ownership. Before anyone starts up saying Bollocks to that, look at the picture of this kids dog, then think where You fall responsible owner or a dickhead with a potential leathel dog. I am a Bull breed owner and have been for many years. I pride Myself on how as a family we rear our dogs. I am shocked this dog was not put to sleep. I know what I would be doing now, so this never happens again, to anyone one else`s dog or even worse a child.

Aww ffs..........its still going today!!!.....

I see someone got his facts wrong again lol.Ive known some excellent staffies and some awful ones theyre overbred just now and everywhere is over run with them.Pounds and rescues giving them out to desperately save them for the blue juice no proper assesments no nothing. The handler was at fault here no tight collar or harness.no muzzle no proper handling at all by sounds of things.Accidents can and do happen and when one of moine took a dog apart im insured for it and offered to pay the vet bill as my dog did slip his collar so in my opinion my fault for not checking it was tight enough he couldnt get out of it not to shout and ball and give the owner of the other dog grief.Had it not been my fault id have went berserk.Staffys are not the fighters theyre made out to be or at least most of them. Its bad handling and stupidity that makes a dog dangerous if you have a dog thats iffy muzzle it problem solved a leads another handy tool round here most owners wear it as a f*****g necklace though.Id be making them pay the vets fees and insisting this dog is not rehomed as it will no doubt end up in some Arseholes hands and god only knows what damage will be done then the do will end up dead anyway in the end.Staffies were not originally bred for fighting thats another load of shit some old wives tale and even if they were for arguements sake doesnt excuse it nor should it be tolerated im afraid i know plenty of staffy owners who either muzzle their dogs or walk their dogs at obscure times like myself to avoid any grief

should we do the same with coursing dogs?

find out what types of dogs are being used to break the law by coursing hare and then make it mandatory to have them licensed?

surely no law abiding person would have a problem with that.

Are you high mate???? cant see the comparison here between killing say a hare or even a fox and killing another dog.Ive had very few incidents and i work with vets all over the place of lurchers attacking other dogs staffy attacks are happening a lot im afraid its that simple.Ive found those who work their dogs (not all btw but most)Seem to have excellent control over their dogs up here anyway and keep their dog on a lead etc unless theyre out the way of joe public.its staffies and stuff here all the time.Flint was playing with one years ago for ages and it turned and grabbed her face for f**k all vet bill to have her fixed she half killed the other dog lady had dog destroyed because as it turned out shes under some court order to keep the dog muzzled and on a lead all the time and she claimed it was a pit i had and her dog was muzzled. When i stormed into cop shop after they phoned my mobile she asked for my adress and i gave her my mobile number instead with my little hound they could clearly see shes no pit and the other dog couldnt have been muzzled. She claimed my dog caused injuries so bad the dog had to be pts one phone call to the vet told me that was crap. The dog had a lot of hole etc yes but nothing life threatening to me anyway just another tit trying to keep their arse out of the frying pan
