Lab 10,979
f*****g twats mate..............boils my piss when i read this as it brings back memories of when my dog got attacked. Luckily he wasn't injured at the time but its still a worrying time. Typical f*****g owners trying to pass the buck to, it was a woman with me which was probably better as it was just a shouting match and basically her told tae "f**k off and keep her mutts on a lead"....if it was a man then it might have been different....... Hope yer dog heals up fine mate........keep a nice heavy stick with you on a walk when you go. They dont like that over the head......... taking one i hope one for protection, 2 to just get the dog off my brother was booting it and nothing, hes a hard lad aswell, pisses me right off to thanks alot mate, will keep u updasted! It was 2 boxers with me mate.........older dog and a pup and she had the 3rd biggest 1 on the lead. Kicking them worked i can tell you... And the last 1 that landed on her pups chin as it tried for one last snap left it lying on its back looking at the sky. To be honest i thought i had seriously hurt it and thats why she was going daft, at the time i couldnt have given a f**k as my temper was through the roof..... Hopefully it learned a quick lesson that day, i doubt it................ Quote Link to post

Well said Blan89 . a threat of bad publicity does wonders in getting a result. as you said though it isn't really the staffy's fault, more the dogs owners/handlers who don't know how to control them. it's them who've turned the dog into a dangerous weapon. fukin jokers should stick to lookin after hamsters n da, not dogs! ftm 3,357
never liked staffys but it aint the dogs fault sounds like these tree huggers have messed up big time.kindest thing that could happen to this dog would be to put to sleep hope your whippet recovers mate as there tough little buggers under that soft look Quote Link to post
supersam 64
once the wound dont get infected the dog should make a full recovery. my whippet had a bad accident and needed 2 operations, some of the skin died and was left with a big open wound but in time it healed and he is working now even though the skin is a bit tight on that side of his body. here a few pics. pic after first operation. you can see all the dead skin on him. pic after second operation. this what was left and this wound had to close on its own. this is him now.
