Miss Tarka 3
Nasty lil'things.....we had a ESS come into work a few years ago and we removed 72 of them....they were all over his back...head..ears..legs..feet..in between his toes...tail...belly...everywhere and they went from tiny ones to very full very fat and grey ones..it was horrible...when you stroked him it was just bumpy, worst thing is the owner didn't know... I'm fairly lucky with my two and they very rarely pick them up...but they get checked after every walk especially the terrier...lol Best thing to remove them is a tick hook...great little thing and so quick, and although most of you probably know don't put Vaseline on them, this causes them to suffocate, die and fall off..that's great but the throw the blood they have taken back into the body and therefore increases the risk of lymes disease....:/ Atb Miss T x
