i feel old now lol

 

same day doughnut put his hand down thinking he was grabbing the terrier and grabbed the fox who turned around and clamped on his hand lol is he still about these days?

 

i will have to ask the bigman if i can tag along one day and catch up :)

my word gone are the days when punch nicked a hare from punch@ rosy :bye: by the way my friends two brindle dogs and fawn bitch are flying.

12 years of running over flint is something you want to expect with a dog worked regular, i wonder how long a whippets or greyhounds feet would last over tha hard stuff

dont think they would las t long at all mate the would be lame more than they would be working

very true IMO thats a big thing that makes these dogs so special never mind they working ability which i havent seen but heard enough of...

Why add whippet to the mix if charlie is the target species? I cant see any advantage in bringing the size and build down? Surely the bigger and stronger the dog the quicker the fox would be dispatched :yes:

In J Darcys now thats what I call lurcher work there is a picture of Havoc he looks to have really bad feet, flat splayed toes. Was this a result of many years hard work on hard ground or did he just have bad feet from birth and does the line have bad or good feet.

 

like it says in the book they need good feet to run on the ground they run on down with B and B in the pic he looks pretty old so id expect it from running over flint regular...

it doesnt matter how the dogs feet looked the dog was stil what you can call a world beater

world beater dont know about that , not many people at the time or now can get the right bull anyway so it dont sound right :no:

no its their own line, pics just been put on here by caine. :thumbs:
