falcongit 242 Posted June 17, 2011 Report Share Posted June 17, 2011 Hi all went this morning for abit of a wander with my new range finder what a great bit of kit i dont no how i managed without it for so long,got to the field and got set up,and how every thing has grown weeds up to you waste and nettles and brambles,still digging them out of my hands now thorns,i was looking for my lunch and the dogs and spotted a hare in the distence so made my way nearer to him and then down on my belly crawling along to get closer, the ground was hard on my knees and elbows,we havent had alot of rain up here,anyway got my range finder out and lazed it at 48 metrs so decided to get closer more pain,lazed again at 31 metrs,got comfey as much as i could and took my shot,he went straight down,see the blood coming out of his ear....thats all i got for that morning had a walk round and took some photos of a swan nesting on the water for my grand daughter to see when i got home,left her alone and went home to prep my hare for lunch,and the dogs.....
