The hob kits appeared to be okay and hopefully their long term health will not be affected. I'm guessing that the jill kits bolted their food more than the hob kits did, so were more apt to swallow the shot. Quote Link to post

judge2010 196
My ferrets have always picked out shot and pellets, can always tell when i'm shovelling the shavings out and they hit the shovel. Just make sure you skin and gut everything then freeze for 2 years and then disinfect it before you feed it to the ferret 2 Years I was told 4 years and disinfect, I'm a gullible c**t . No wonder Iv'e got fourteen freezer's full you freeze food for 2 or 4 years and then disinfect before you feed it to the ferret??? how exactly do you disinfect it? just give it to them fresh ffs! and don't skin it, just gut it and then stick the whole lot in! LOL please tell me you were joking! Quote Link to post
