secretagentmole 1,701
An idea Craig, try askign the local Rotary club and Lions club, see if they can help, a lot of local businessmen belong to that, builders, decorators, carpeters etc, they helped a woman where I worked get a bungalow suitable for their son after he was in a bad motorbike accident! andyfr1968 772
I'm really sorry to hear that, Craig, and I wish I was in a better place myself and could offer you more help. It may well be worth contacting your local Masonic lodge. The Mason's are the second biggest fund raisers for charity after the lottery in the UK. It can't hurt to ask and I hope you get the help that's needed. Cheers. Quote Link to post

ButterWouldntMelt 0
Also if you have a Buffs/buffaloes/ROAB. (ask descreatly at a few local pubs) From what I understand, they are like a poor mans version of the masons. They do lots of fund raising for charities & individuals. (The lodge (back room of a pub)in the area that I used to live has given nebulisers to people that were desperate for one.) So it is well worth making enquries for the help that is needed, If they can help they will. Quote Link to post

gaz s 0
Hi Craig, I started shooting in January this year, and met Gareth in Feb ,shooting with his uncle John. Since then ,every week weve been shooting ,4 of us ,at ravenfeld and Wortley, I was with Gareth the night before he died ,we had been shooting at Wortley,we went for a couple of pints after ,in the Hilltop. We had a right laugh,he was buzzing about his holiday.I was absolutely devasted about the news.Having known him only a short time, the effect he had on my personally was untrue. What a briliant, kind ,funny lad he was .Knowing him has changed me forever.I feel robbed that i cant be with him anymore,God only knows what his family and friends are going through .The Old saying GOD ONLY TAKES THE BEST really is true, RIP TOP LAD gary s Right chaps bare with me im crying like a baby typing this last thursday the 9th june 2011 our family had the worst news you could have ever imagined my nephew gareth hague had passed away this has just blown our whole world appart.
