zini 1,939
Hi lads, Here is a video that I have made showing you how to design your own Pulsar Digi Scope reticles that you can use for your own shooting needs on your air rifle. There is also a tutorial showing you how to use the software to help you calibrate your own rifle / Digi Scope and pellet trajectory making for precise shooting at night. If done correctly as I have detailed in this tutorial you should only miss at night if your range finding or your windage compensation is incorrect. Hold over and under will not be a problem and you will be able to put a pellet perfectly on all ranges from about 5 to 45 / 50 metres in .177 and about 40 metres in .22 using your new designed, calibrated reticle. This is due to the small size of the reticle once loaded into the Digi Scope. (Trial and error, scope zero range, rifle power and pellet BC when calibrating will determine max ranges for each Digi Scope reticle). The software is free to download from Scott Country. (Link below for the software and their short tutorial) http://www.scottcountry.co.uk/pulsarreticles Cheers and I hope you find it interesting. The results of the newly designed and calibrated reticle will be added to a yet to be produced 6th shooting and hunting DVD that I will be making (The 5th one is getting filmed at the moment) where you will see it in action shooting rats and rabbits at night to great effects. Any questions please feel free to ask. Regards Si. Calibration Reticle.bmp Edited June 19, 2011 by zini 1 Quote Link to post

zini 1,939
Yes Darren by all accounts its a great NV scope mate. The only problem is the price tag though, but i suppose you get in this case what you pay for. Si. Quote Link to post
chimp 299
ive heard from quite a few people how shite the pulsar is and i think there is a topic in the centrefire section about these. you could get a nice second hand archer or similar for the same price. Quote Link to post
