Snifferboy 659
I read somewhere, may have been a Jackie Drakeford book or even on some website somewhere that a tumbler is a type of lurcher that tripped it's prey up before striking/picking it up, hence the name tumbler. I seem to recall they were preferred for certain terrain, but then again it could just be a crock of sh@t that I read. 'They were a rough dog of no more than 24 inch's' is another quote I seem to recall reading from the same pages. F@ck know's a lurcher is a lurcher the good ones stand out big or small. Dam / Sire Rip Off Rita X Load of Cobblers These two dogs produced a big litter which included,"Having a Laugh"",Taking The Piss","Tell Me Another One","I Wanna Tell You A Story",and the most famous one," Once Upon A Time",which became a great brood bitch in it's retirement ,and perpetuated the line with such animals as "Making It Up", "I Even Convince Myself",who are legends even to this day. N .B. There are many rough coated "bitsas "out there, who ,at first glance look indistinguishable from Mr Burrell's strain, do not be fooled, pick them up and inspect them, if they haven't got Mr Burrell's name tattooed on their arse they are NOT TUMBLERS,and therefore ,not worth a tenth of the price of Mr Burrell's pups.
