Dazzam 239
People know my views on the non ped whippets that have been brought in from England and those that have been bred here in this country. Would they be allowed to be showed and raced with the whippets at the Sporting Whippet Club (NI). When i say non peds i don't mean those dogs that have been bred from kc registered parents with no papers but those that have been bred from dogs that race/raced in the BWRA/NWRF etc. Nothing to do with whippets, but COME ON RORY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You should know!!!! if it was you who was ouside!!!! What about Rory!!!!!!!! Come on Our Wee Country!!!!!! WELL DONE RORY ! Now guys I think we have hammered this topic to death. Can we all not turn up at Shanes Castle for ( weather permitting ) the best Game Fair that Ireland has ever seen with the largest display of guns ever; gun fitting and stock bending by Mike Yardley; a great Angling Village; a Real medieval and Living History village in the old castle; a continuous and action packed main arena programme; great international gundogs with a team from Holland and teams from all over over the UK; the Finals of the All Ireland Game Fair Championships in Clay Shooting and gundog handling; the largest and most varied canine event ever mounted in Ireland AND of course the biggest and best terrier, lurcher and whippets events in Ireland with the Master Mc Grath Final; The 24th All Ireland Championship for terrier, lurchers and whippets - both show and racing - qualifiers for the Midland Fair and the Five Nations Lurcher Championship at Birr - the next Great Game Fair of Ireland on the 27th & 28th August 2011. We have increased the classes for the whippets this year - have a great judge - and we will look at increasing the status of the whippets further in 2012. So lets all pull together on this and make the IRISH GAME FAIR at Shanes Castle on the 25th & 26th June the best and happiest Irish Game Fair ever. Albertj

It is for all WHIPPETS KC registered or not KC registered. This is a matter than can be looked at again in the future but if we are to further progress increasing the whippet profile at our events we can do it through calm discussion. AlbertJ 569
Thanks for that Albert, pure whippets kc reg or not Thats it for this year. we can discuss everything after this year. We have 'stepped up to the plate' for all breeds this year and are prepared to do so in the future but lets have some harmony in the fraternity. Albertj
