ftm 3,357
well if its not bloody rats eating my pigeon corn its woodies eating my cabbages, so the rifle was packed and off i went to see what was about. i stood around hoping i might get a rat but nothing about [good] i heard a woody in the sycamore tree at the top of the garden ,a quick scan and i have it in my sights so a quiet cock of the rifle and a gentle squeeze of the trigger sends it tumbling down stone dead not even a flap of the wings . 5 minutes passed before another woody landed on top of my gate i placed the cross hairs on its chest and it fell backwards , as i was about to leave a loud clap of the wings caught my attention and a woody landed in the sycamore i quickly lifted the rifle and down it came ,all these birds were shot from the same standing spot 30 yds away 3 shots 3 dead woodies not bad eh?
