got to disagree bazil,,,, about the jacking thing if a greyhound or whippet pulled up after a minuit , you would just say its ran out of steam,,, what you have to remember is,,, put this dog back on the slip give it ten mins, and it will run again, and keep doing so,,,, if it jacked it wouldnt run owt . im not saying its a good thing that the dog can only run for a minuit on big rabbits,, of course i want 3 or 4 mins,, would be great,,,, but to say a dog has jacked cos it cant physicaly run any more is incorect.

your pup isnt a whippet or greyhound is it,???

last known its mother was out of top class coursin stuff capable of 4 to 5 minute runs and its father is the famous lampin dog jack capable of 10 to 15 hares on a dark cumbrian winters nights.....

so under no circumstances should your dog pull up after a minute should it???

 

of course its not a whipp or grey, and as a lurcher you would think it would run for longer, i was mearly using the example of a greyhound pulling up on the coursing field and watching a hare run off,,, nobody woud say it jacked,, cos the same dog after a rub down and proberbly an hours rest would run again.

 

now i proberbly should have taken note from baz of here as i know those boys tried the minshaw stuff over a coursing dog years ago and they didnt make the grade for the fens,,,, so maybee these things just dont gell together that well,,,, but i think its unfair to blame andys dog bazil , anyway theres still plenty i hope she can do and the rest of the litter for that matter

you realy are thick,bulpa was a full minshaw,his mother was a pure collie not a x bred thing,well if the bloods gone run your dog against mine this season,yours should easily run it into the ground,jf hant a clue either mate he didnt do alot h just went out with minshaw himself and got his pic taken,has ive said ive forgot more about these dogs than you.jf or jb will ever no(fact)

Listen Shaun, i have NO plans whatsoever of running my whippet against any of yours or your familys dogs. I have a couple of genuine lads around me that help put the game in front of my dogs i dont need people like you!!. So now the collie that Bulpa was bred from was a MINSHAW COLLIE?? :laugh: Seriously where does it end?

If you see a hancock bred dog you know its a hancock same goes for Pye/nuttal/gould/BLACKWATER they have certain looks an traits. Its only the minshaw dogs that have NO clear signs of showing its a minshaw thats because its aload of b*llocks.

 

Another thing ive just been looking at a picture of swift, is jack not bred from cora/bulpa?. Its just swift has got all the features of one of the Greyhounds Cora used to be penned with at BMs. Maybe jack has threw a pup like his own SIRE the (greyhound) it makes sense doesnt it??? And Andy what happened to the first litter out of Cora/bulpa?
