shushycatcher 219
my dogs look fitter in summer than they do in winter, but are not in any way as sharp,or as fit! I put a bit more weight on my dogs towards the start of the season, and only after a month or so hard fieldwork, day and night, would i consider them match fit summer winter. Hare was shot and retrieved. 1 Quote Link to post
bendrover 556
I start them on a bike for a few weeks , then i jog them next to the car , depends on the dog what i do with it , the bitch in the pic was trained very hard ! any one who knows how to train a dog, knows its the whole package not just the jogging, iv had dogs a long time and have only met a few people who i think can condition a dog to its peak , there will be a lot more but i havent met them ! by the looks of your dogs ,you DO know how to condition a dog Quote Link to post
