I MANAGED TO GO OUT FOR A SHOOT AT THE MANOR

Recommended Posts

hi ya folks

well after kev txt me to say he couldn't make it tonight i thought i would pop up there for an hour or 2 just to stock up on a few rabbits

well this is how it went so from the start i wanted to check the zero on the ultra a quick little go at 26mtrs in the garden at a woodies head(decoy) so once i was happy after 2 shot pellet on pellet i was ready for the off,

so after turning up at the manor it seemed very quite and still alot of people about so i wondered off to the other side of the paddox hummmm notning there strange really as these always a rabbit about then yes there he was a big old dog fox hummmm no shottie with me so i thought i would leave him to it so i went back to the car i had only been there 2 minutes when i spotted a squizzer hummm i'm having you boy so as he was on the floor bosh he got it nice clean head shot so i went to walk out to get him then a kit showed itself hummm i will have you to then these were taken at 20mtrs nice easy shots to the first kit got a clean head shot and then the second one came out so that kit got a head shot to very happy 2 minutes of being there 2 kits and a squizzer not to bad so far.so after stringing them up i took another wonder around to get this Mr BADGER munching yep no rabbits here either so off i went again,

to shoot a few more rabbits and rooks which made my day a little and a woodie as well so very happy with my 2 hours out shooting the vid and pictures are here

oh yeah as i took the mixy rabbit just by the bee hives i could hear buzzing hummm that sounds close i thought so after standing up i then relised that i had been sat under one which was a bit of a shock to say the least

Hey Shay, brilliant work :clapper:

Don't you just hate the way kit's plap about with their brain hanging out of their skulls! Remember that shot of the kit I took and its brain was hanging out down its nose, flapped like mad that one did. I knew it was dead but to the non hunter it looked like a wounding :(

After that I began taking heart/lung shots on kits as they tend to run a two or three feet and fall over. Half grown and above I think the brain is less maliable and a pellet through it tends to knock em over with only a wave of the back foot

Love the way you have the vid above the scope :notworthy:

Again excellent work.
