lukey 1,621
yeah do you not think you can over check your local spots lads ? Yes mate you could be. And worse than that for all you know someone else could be trying them also! Its shit and I know how you feel. If you can try n get out with mates that do a fair bit and let them take you to spots, give your local holes a bit of a rest then come chrismas times when the weather is right get out n try them then, you`ll end up flat out mate if you have enough local places to do. Bobba_fett 117
im no expert but snow, hard frost or a piss wet day are best times to check and after you'v checked them leave them alone for a few weeks to get rid of your smell around the hole. Quote Link to post
Guest busterdog
Cold hard rain is the best at putting foxes to ground, how many times do you see foxes traveling about in the snow "lots".. , checking earths to much..yes I'd say you could but I've also sent a lad to a drain that i checked the day before to put him off going to the earths i wanted to get to first lol, he had two and i had one.... . Keep checking, the more the merrier and after 28 years with terriers I'de say theres no set rules to finding a fox toground. Quote Link to post
