mackem 27,495
Theres a guy at work,a very good angler, had some beautiful heavyweight Thames carp, and an enviable tally of big barbel, said he is going to show me a mark for cats in the Thames,I only know of two caught locally, the biggest was the one under Walton bridge which bottomed out the guys scales at 50lb,the other was smaller, guesstimated at 20+lb,I know several guys who have had runs from what they think were Wels,so yes,its a session to see the potential of local catfish. PeakOil 352
I am fishing a river that flows in to a river, that flows in to a river you might know of. I will do a fortnight of small stream chub / roach stalking with worm and bread while the mayhem on the main river dies down. By the end of June I should be able to get a quiet spot on the main river after the big but wily barbel, chub, bream and carp. Quote Link to post
