Guest busterdog Posted June 29, 2011 Report Share Posted June 29, 2011 Look lets clarify a few things here, no one can take away what Brians done for the breed and no one's knocking the fact that at the age he is (can't say as it changes on every post) he still gets out and does a bit, but when he knocks the back out of the bitches he has and sells them to all and sundry then thats where me and him differ greatly on morals. I (heres that word agian) "RESPECT" my dogs and the thought of some snot nosed tosser buying them just because he can fills me with dread. I do not and will not sell dogs "end of", the amount of pups Brian produces can't be for his own use or for mates, he is simply selling dogs for the sake of it, and as for the nonsense about no one could look after the dogs BOLLOCKS, he knows plenty of people who could look after them, the fact is they are in the van because they live there. 6 Quote Link to post

If your selling any or charging anything for studs your as bad as the dealers and lets be fair, we are not just talking of BN alot with the big name sell and stud for the money. It normaly goes like this, article or photo's in mags/internet or book, then a good slap on their backs from mates saying great dogs and pups from last litters making great, then the little one, sorted all me mates out with pups and just a few surplus up for sale Always respect for what folks have done, but TRUST is easily lost. Dont fall out like school kids, but when TRUST is lost, we agree to dis-agree and nothing goes there again Quote Link to post
mongoose 39 Posted June 30, 2011 Report Share Posted June 30, 2011 I heard jason powel sell pups £250 each i know of someone who bought 2 pups from him and that was the price-each I brought 2 pups of JP and that was not the price I paid. If they carry on working like they have done it will be the best money I have ever spent as i'm made up with them. Why should he of given them to me foc as he didn't know me but we spoke on the phone several times before I got offered a pup so he must of thought I was ok. I feel i've been lucky to get these dogs as I don't know a huge amount of people in the game so I would have to buy a pup from somewhere so whos going to just give me a pup of this quality. I found him very honest and helpful and he even offered me a lurcher stud foc. It was the only litter at his place so why did his name have to be mentioned on a Brain Nuttal thread. Green eyed monsters come to mind,worry about your own dogs. frankly i don't care what you paid i just said what i knew to be the truth what someone else had said regarding prices,it was'nt me who brought JP's name into the conversation.i have no opinion of JP one way or the other,the lad works/breeds dogs and sells a few and i know for a fact he sold this particular lad 2 for £250 each.he said that's what he wanted and was willing to pay that and probably more if it came to it for what he wanted,fair play to him who am i to give an opinion on how anyone spends his hard earned cash.myself,i think working dogs & money should'nt mix as it eventually will lead to trouble but you do have a valid point when you say that if it was'nt for a few dogs being sold some people have no oppertunity of getting their hands on decent blood,it's a very fine line we walk. green eyed monster???,forget it,nothing could be further from the truth.i have no desire whatsoever to be a name in terriers or anything else and that's even if i had the dogs to be a 'name'.enjoy your dogs Quote Link to post

Duckwing wheres the names, for someone who's in there company regularly then why don't you have there phone numbers, give them a call and lets clear it straight up or as i said put them together in a room and PLEASE give me a bell because i'de like to be there to see BN's face when you ask him.
