robbobsam 0
Hi all, I'm applying for an FAC in the near future and am also going to buy the usual cabinate and ammo safe. after this i am stuck, so heres a few question, dont be afraid to argue it helps me way up the pros and cons. WHAT IS THE BEST CALIBRE FOR RABBITING AND TARGET SHOOTING COMBINED, BUT MAINLY RABBITING? WHAT GUN MANUFACTURES SHOULD I STAY CLEAR OF? WHAT ARE THE BEST MAKES TO LOOK FOR? CZ? FOR A £450 LIMIT WHAT RIFLE WOULD BE RECOMMENDED 1ST/2ND HAND? ANY ADVICE ON WHERE TO LOOK? thanks and i hope this isn't too common. Upto 100yds a .22lr CZ 452 is a fantastic rabbiting tool. I have literally shot 1000's of them with mine and the gun will give me 1" groups at 100yds all day with eley subsonics. I am glad I didnt waste my money on a more expensive rifle as the CZ is fantastically accurate for £400, what more do you want from a rabbiting rifle. Yes an Anschutz will give tighter groups I guess but does it matter if you do 3/4" or 1" inch groups at 100yds when hunting. I don't think so. Quote Link to post
