Something similar happened to my dog a while back. Whole face swelled like a balloon, no idea what it was but probably a bee/wasp sting. Ended up at the emergency vets for a couple of jabs & a course of piriton. With a pup that age I would get to the vets - the emergency one is by Alder Hey. Quote Link to post

spike 0
do you think it would be wise to wait till tomorrow spike? i have a problem with transport and i dont get paid till tomorrow. I wouldn't take a chance with a pup of that age mate. Depends how bad it is really; you probably shouldn't try to give it anything like piriton 'cause of it's age. Has it had any jabs?? Give the emergency vet a ring if you aren't sure - I've checked yell.com & I think the number is 0151 220 4668. Can you get someone to help you out till tomorrow? Good luck mate Quote Link to post
