any suggestions welcome i have an eight week old pup and her eyes have swelled up dramatically in the last hour iv had her out once today she never went near anything i can think of while she was out. anyone any idea's?

Something similar happened to my dog a while back. Whole face swelled like a balloon, no idea what it was but probably a bee/wasp sting. Ended up at the emergency vets for a couple of jabs & a course of piriton.

With a pup that age I would get to the vets - the emergency one is by Alder Hey.

I wouldn't take a chance with a pup of that age mate. Depends how bad it is really; you probably shouldn't try to give it anything like piriton 'cause of it's age. Has it had any jabs??

 

Give the emergency vet a ring if you aren't sure - I've checked yell.com & I think the number is 0151 220 4668. Can you get someone to help you out till tomorrow?

she's had her jab's! iv heard its pricey too jay mate iv got no feckin money till tomorrow me heads up me arse im gonna give that a ring im gonna keep checkin on her

Alright craig sounds like she is allergic to something but it could be anything and with a pup and its eyes i would get her to the vet asap i have heard that alder hey one is good but pricey...

thanks for the advice lads me pups eyes r back to normal this mornin! was up with her all night like still gonna take her the vets today and get her checked out

alright jay took the pup the vet today an they have kepted her in not sure whet is up wid her but she as lost alot of weight il fined out in a min an let ye know what it is fingers x

What did the vet do when the pup was sedated why did her eyes swell up ?? what was the cause ??
