Strong Stuff 2,171
I've heard he's a perv though ........... Chilly, if you're going to the Welsh gamefair next week, come and say hello, I might have a collar or 2 to show you to help you decide what to go for. The widths I do are: 2", would recommend those for the bigger bull type or straight bulls. 1 1/2" for "normal" lurchers 1" for lighter dogs 3/4" for whippet types. My gear is normally 5 layers thick, but I can do it 4 layers to make it more flexible, even the big collars are not really heavy, not as heavy as they look for sure, around 250 grammes for a 2" x 17" neck. As for quick release etc, I think it's best to keep it simple, just use a collar with a decent D on, and either the slip lead I'll give you free with a collar or make your own from a length of webbing or cord, there's nothing magic about my slips, you can make your own easily enough. Scalesandtails, yours will be done in the next couple of days, there's quite a lot of work in yours so it's take a fair amount of time to make. If someone fancies a deal to go and finish painting my mas house so I can actually do some work then I'll pay them in collars LOL, she's got me up the fecking wall! Panty thieves need not apply 1 Quote Link to post
