andyfr1968 772
I tried it once years ago and it was OK. A total b*****d to skin though It's popular with traditional Cagan cooking apparently. Quote Link to post

gurtwurz 792
personally i reckon they taste better than rabbit, specially in chinese plum or hoi sin sauce. fry em up and shred em then serve like shredded duck and youre laughing. spot on!! cheers, wurz Quote Link to post
millsy44 72
Squirrel kebabs on skewers!! done under the grill or on the BBQ tasty, just blag some one else to do all the prep, i.e skinning etc etc its like stripping bark!! haha Atb peter Quote Link to post
Phantom 631
Supposed to be easier to peel when they are warm, but yep Cajun Squizzer or as Wurz say's. Kebabs another one for me to try Elvis Presley as a kid used to shoot and trap squizzers, it was a family staple meat in that part of the country. Tony Quote Link to post
matt_hooks 188
Skinning's not too bad if done properly. I've eaten a few, and they're pretty good. Pf course like anything they need gutting quickly after death, the smaller animals it's even more important! Quote Link to post
CarraghsGem 92
i would love to try squirrel, i can imagine it would taste good in a satay sauce Quote Link to post

jackinbox99 41
Looks like a lot of hard work skinning and gutting one of those for a little meat. Think i`ll stick to rabbits! Quote Link to post
