trappa 518
Just dug up 2 potato plants that are starting to flower. 1 early 1 maincrop. Plenty pots they are bloomin tiny! The severe lack of rain these last couple of months means a pis poor crop of potatoes for old trap trap! Mind you, these last couple of days might help them swell. Anyone else had a peek at their tatties?

BULLDOUG 199
To early for mine, one thing though, i thinks its a little mythical that spuds need a lot of water personaly. Ive only watered mine 2 or three times sice planting . My garlics done, that bemused me a little, my herb garden is doing amazing, really enjoying that this year. cucumbers, im sick of em, picking huge fruits every day (cant complain). We only have two plants of Cucs, ill have a look at the strain when im up the morrow. I would always go for a Fem, and only ever water from the base, never wetting the stem. Also i have an allaminium tray and a bottle of water dripping onto it, the water evapurates under the plant creating a little moisture, another one of my silly gadgets that probably doesnt make a blind bit of difference really . I always empty a bucket of water in the cuc room to bring the humidity up as well.

trappa 518
Im not keen on leaving em in the ground longer than i have to, the worms soon attack and put holes in them so i like to pull them as soon as they flower but this year they are shockingly small compared to last year this time. Its still early mind but .
