alright lads bein out on the mooch last fue weekends with the dogs and every week im finding more and more dead rabbits.Went out yesterday and the feilds i walk is bein distroyed with mixy it might sound stupid but is there anything i can do. if it keeps goin the way it is there wont be many rabbits left by september.A mate told me the rabbits that get over mixy yhere young become emune to it but if thats the case mixy would have disapeared years ago does [NO TEXT TALK] have simular stories and did the rabbit population recover the next year.

immunity is not passed on to the young they can only become immune by surviving the infection, its the same this way aswell mate dogs are bringing em back all the time.

Went for a walk last night about 7ish, on my local permission about a 10 min walk from my place, this time last year, very few bunnies, and most of them had myxi, but now, and i kid you not, the place is alive with fresh healthy bunnies

its the same around hear last time i was out i saw loads i dont think they get over it i kill the ones i can to try and stop it spreading

Never seen on my crap bit of permission luckily. I actually had a little blind baby rabbit hop over to me and stand by my trainer on the way back from fishing the other week. It looked awful with puss coming out of his eyes and sneezing constantly (I assume this was mixy) so I put him out of his misery and put my trainers in the washing machine when I got home.
