cúagusgiorraí 57
A few years back, I spent from start of season till the end, three to five days a week, minimum 5 hours a day, and didn't get a single pull. I only saw a few caught, mostly in the Ridgepool (where there easily caught anyways), and just behind the boxes, where most the local lads have it covered all the time. Everywhere else is just a waste of time. I watched more salmon being caught by Otters than I did fishermen! If you want to spend a good days fishing on the Moy, forget the salmon, go out into the estuary and fish for Seatrout, that is where the fun is to he had. pok17r 1
Right lads, its time to get your butts to the moy the fish have been held up for a month or more the flood should start to clear-up from tomorrow, We should have a good run of fish. So now is the time to buy your day ticket without any lies and you have a good chance of catching a fish. Good luck Quote Link to post

Adam13 4
yea hopefully picks up Quote Link to post
Adam13 4
To the Fishery Board Southern Ireland on the river Moy next season (2012) do your fishing if you dont catch a fish you don't have to pay for the day's fishing (fish for free). If you catch a fish you pay the fees! Thats fair!! Quote Link to post
Adam13 4
Only after the last tree has been cut down Only after the last river has been poisoned Only after the last fish has been caught only then will you find that money cannot be eaten. Quote Link to post
