im keeping my eye on this thread as i just recently got a 1/2 grey 1/4 collie 1/4 deer :thumbs:

i,ve got 1/2 grey 1/4 bull 1/4 deerhound ,she 7 now and been my best dog ever ,racey type aswell ,collie seems 2 be getting flung in the mix more any pics of your dog

im keeping my eye on this thread as i just recently got a 1/2 grey 1/4 collie 1/4 deer :thumbs:

i,ve got 1/2 grey 1/4 bull 1/4 deerhound ,she 7 now and been my best dog ever ,racey type aswell ,collie seems 2 be getting flung in the mix more any pics of your dog

cheers everyone for their opions ,seems 2 be colliegrey/deergrey or beddy/grey/deergrey ,i run 1/4 deerhound 1/4 bull 1/2 grey ,bull/saluki/deerhound/grey .bullgrey/deerhound/bull/grey and they all have different strenghs ,but i would never stray far from this cross apart from adding either beddy or collie ,but i,m straying more 2 th beddy

I think a small amount of collie can be a good addition that's why having owned a deer/grey x beddy / grey that done me well over the years with that added little bit of brain power to go with all that drive would be a dog hard to beat. I think that's was mine only fault just sometimes could of done with those extra brain cells. Otherwise couldn't be faulted really hence why my dog of the future will be the above I mentioned earlier

No problem , i totally agree with the colliegrey,deergrey - beddygrey/deergrey sounds good.

here my 3

first my 1/4 deerhound 1/4bull 1/2 grey ,her best assets are speed, and fieldcraft

3rd the pup ,deerhound/bull/grey ,more bull then deerhound in the mix ,i would without seeing him 2 mush work but what he has showned of the back end of last season is ,pure preydrive and speed every slip he wants 2 be of ,could but that down young keenes

What are the smaller bred deerhound cross bitches standing at?

 

Bull/Deer/Grey or Beddy/Deer/Grey etc
