marshman 7,757
I don't think he's brown nosing, just stating facts. If you're not happy with the fmwtc in you're area then you should start you're own rescue club. Look forward to seing how you get on Quote Link to post

Obviously you have'nt seen Neilston Working Dog Association Display boards that show we promote terrier rescues or that were' members of the "NWTF" or have read a news article in a local paper here! where members of the NWDA rescued a member of the publics terrier that went to ground and got stuck! as for cliques at show's? Neilston pride themselves in being hospitable to everyone, strangers and friends Members at Neilston also don't enter their own dogs in class's therefore cant win trophy's at their own show unless there's a members only class which there was'nt this year!! Cleanspade 3,322
i have to agree that the working terrier scene is very fragmented in scotland. the fmwtc is poorly supported. and a lot of the clubs are close knit affairs. a sign of the times i suppose. what happened to the club that was having meetings to form a comittee any rescue service is welcome. new or old. edited to add.pm for my support. MainAttraction! 83
Not trying to sound like a jerk but why would a working terrier need to be rescued if they are not making the grade, or they are crap bred for the pet trade? Do the breed a favor an jus put em down. If you really want to do something for working terriers you might consider taking the funds you planned to put toward a rescue and make a donation to a hunt club that is fighting against anti hunting ligislation? Your generousity is deeply appreciated. Quote Link to post
