Devon 26
Just got my new pup last night and had him to the vets tonight for his first jab, worm and general check over. Vet recommended Advocate wormer which is a spot on type treatment which not only covers worms but fleas, mange, lung/heart worm and ear mites. After reading some of the worming warnings though I wanted to ask if anyone else has used this product and would they recommend it? Cheers in advance for any info. lurchergrrl 1,441
I've just been with my new pup and was given Advocate as well. He'd no fleas on him but I used it as a preventative and for the worming etc. I did it this morning and now he's itchy as all hell Is that normal, anyone else had this with their dogs? mick01 36
yeah its seems to of done the trick my pup has been worm and flea free since our last trip to the vets. not sure of price it came in a package with her jabs. atb mick
Devon 26
Attack I paid £9 for the advocate. It was £2 dearer than pancur which is the other wormer our vet uses. Seemed worth the extra for the fact it's a multiple condition treatment.

Devon 26
It's not a jab it's a spot on type treatment that you rub between the shoulders on the base of the neck. Vet didn't mention renewal times but I'll ask this Friday as I'm down for pups second jab.
