"Earth!" 503 Posted June 13, 2011 Report Share Posted June 13, 2011 sounds good to me!! if there in a muddy/siltty lake would they still be ok to eat after being purged?? also would they be ok in a bucket of tap water for 24 hours? i put mine in a net and leave in the river overnight. stevethefish 80 Posted November 24, 2011 Report Share Posted November 24, 2011 They are great eating but a pain to shell when you have a few hundred to do. I net them from local farm ponds and I can hardly haul the nets out after 2 days there are so many in there. I use a dead pigeon or rabbit as bait with a double sided eel net and have had some huge ones that would take your fingers off. Quote Link to post
