old git 0
Today my whippet 3 years old got his first rabbit unexpectedly, me and my girlfriend went out for a walk with the older dog, for once we didnt run him on the field with loads of rabbits about but kept him on the lead, we walked abit further and decided to let him off, eventually we decided to sit down and chat as we sat we where talking about lamping and do we think he could get one, all of sudden out the blue i seen a little grey animal dart at first i thought it was a rat, closely followed by the whippet who pinned the bunny straight to the floor and bit the rabbit and give a little shake, we then praised him and he brought the rabbit straight back, i dont care if it was out of season or if it was young, this is something ive been dying for the dog to get abit of confidence and its not like there hard to come by where i live, really pleased and proud of my boy, heres a few pictures, i know its tiny and young but hey its his first one, and the point is he caught it and did what he should do, showing promise for the future in the upcoming season... I kno its only the size of a large shit but im not arsed Quote Link to post
