rpj7 0
Hi all, just a quick hello, i discovered the site quite by accident while googling something to do with Air guns and it seems a nice place to spend the evening every now and again (when I get the time). I want to get back into shooting (under the disguise of expanding my sons interests !!!). I used to shoot quite a lot usual story, catapults then air guns before moving onto shotguns and part 1 handguns (before they were banned). A few years making 7.62 and 5.56mm holes in fig.11 targets etc and then nothing for a few years. I now have 2 working dogs that I am trying to train up (cocker spaniel and a chocolate lab) and would like to get a reasonable PCP to play with, I found my old .22 BSA Airsporter S i was bought 20+ years ago but its a bit scary watching a 9 year old boy attempt to cock it ! I could do with a strip down and maybe a new spring as a few chrono shot at the local club put it at around 6.5ft lbs. There is still a .22 Weihrauch break barrel to be found somewhere in the roof, probably rusted up and been eaten by woodworm by now... Anyway best have another check of the for-sale ads just incase there something good thats not at the other end of the country for a change... Cheers, Rich.

f.a.c.sam 1
Kibworth shooting ground has got to be worth a look, clays, air rifle range and rimfire range. Go at your peril, as you may come out with a significantly lighter wallet than when you went in, I speak from experience. But on a serious note they have a great selection of both new and used air guns and shotguns, the guys in there also really know what they're talking about so if you're serious about getting back into the sport, it's defiantely worth a visit.
