shepp 2,285
I think for the cost of keeping, ferrets have got to be best value for money to fill the pot, second air rifle.
Ideation 8,216
Traps would probably be best if it was survival based. Don't need feeding etc and can catch game when your not there, they are always working. A decent snare / trap line should always feed you and your family. But i'd get a dog and ferrets as that's just more fun.
Paid 935
I use all those methods to fill the freezer.
leegreen 2,210
My hands No really, mainly Whippet/Greyhound then Bull/Greyhound then .243 then ferrets then arterial roads then I have to give the rest away as I only have three chest freezers . I forgot my rod and line and shotgun. I don't use my air rifle vely much, especially to fill the freezer as rats don't get eaten much here nowadays.
lksopener 105
Ferrets for me. Nothing like it for filling the freezer!
jayjay 264
i think i would go for a good all round lurcher, and a ferret or two, with the lurcher you could take a variety of meat, fur and feather , just my opinion, all the best, jay.
