gurtwurz 792
hi lads, well i was gonna do a review of my pro sport now i've got used to how damn well it shoots for me, getting sub 1" groups at 40m and all that kind of thing, and general owner satisfaction all round etc... til i took it out tonight and managed to shear the bolt that holds the underlever to the compression cylinder that is,and i'm no longer quite the happy owner i was so i'm wondering, before it goes back to the shop, is this a common fault or has anybody else had it happen? cos if its likely to go again then its getting swapped for a hw97k and british engineering be damned cheers, wurz Quote Link to post
andyfr1968 772
I've not heard of one failing on a Pro Sport, Wurz, that's a new one on me What a pisser, mate!! Sounds like a random componant failure to me if it's just a bolt that's snapped, these things do happen sadly, from time to time. Give it a second chance, John, they're a cracking rifle. Good luck!! Cheers. Quote Link to post
Ron Weasley 83
Ah shit mate! I hope that's just a freak. Good luck getting it sorted, would be a shame to see the back of such a stunner. Quote Link to post

Daz 7 563
Sorry to hear about the Prosport Wurz, A cracking bit of Kit and a stunning looking rifle, It was a toss up between the Prosport or the HW 97 KT Synthetic, And the HW just edged it for me, Put 3 tins of AA Field through it till my Mate Badgered me to sell it to Him, And he's put another 2 tins through it, So its just broken in now, Still as sweet as when i bought it, Built like a Tank and Deadly accurate. Cheers Daz. Quote Link to post

pianoman 3,587
Aww bloody hell John, that's a sorry thing to hear about mate. It's got to be a rare part failure. If this rifle was poorly made or quality skimped on, it would have a bad rep well-rooted by now. Bet you anything, once she's back with you fixed up, she won't let you down again! My HW77 is still guiding her shots like lazers, mind All the best with her mate. Simon Quote Link to post
