GETTING FIT FOR THE SEASON

try and keep me dogs fit all yr round bud, then towards season i will walk them for 2-3 hrs a day, bit of concrete work, up food levels and proteins then lamping all the time, there's ft and there's lamping fitthumbs.gif

 

 

i couldnt agree more mate, My bitch is fit,but like you said,theres fit and theres match fit :thumbs:

Its OK keeping the dogs fit over the summer but they need a rest as well because there just after a hard season and another one is just around the corner.

My dogs get 2,3 hours over the mountain one day then a day off rest.Then 2,3 mile road walk then day off rest and just keep this up over the summer.

Training really starts at the end off July where the dog would start getting run behind car picking up the miles the closer the season is.

But as people have said there is running fit then there is hunting fit :thumbs:

when do you poeple start getting your dogs fit for the coming season and which meathods do you use?

i will start by steping up the road walks then move onto the push bike for few weeks nearer the time .

start of august then by the middle of sept the mugs get it :boogie:

i will start changeing the routine in july ,instead of 2 walks ,they start getting 4 shorter walks but roads walks ,4 days on the push bike freerunning for about 5 mile ,then august start lamping 1 night a week 2 get them match fit and step the pushbike 10/15 mile freerunning 3 times a week other 4 days road walking 3 times aday for about 2/3 mile each time ,then they ready for 2 be lamping 3/4 nights a week ,roll on september

what fcuk the crack with work with you ,by the sounds of it you,ve only joined 2 upset people ,i do work parttime windowcleaner ,wife works part time aswell ,plus look after my 3 young children ,not like i should explain myself 2 you,like someone already said stop hideing behind a new username and say the same shit under you real username BAW

i think how hard the ground is i sooner keep em on the bike just to keep em ticking over. and as for fitness as long as they half way there at start of season they run there self fit with the game as the winter comes
