scent 509
my mate has a whippet that used to slaughter foxes for fun .Had the heart of a lion and by god did he throw some excellent pups down through the years ,all fox dogs may i add Quote Link to post
jonnygray 139
I had one done em regular when he was workin he bout 22 tts and strong as an ox, out of lord of the night back to laguna lines I retired him two yrs ago an before I got him he was being used lamping cats by some scroats on the local estate. Hard as nails but are few and far between. Putting over my bitch who has caught and finished off shot foxs with no worries and touch wood no major injuries the bites just put a bit more fire in her belly and she only bout 19 tts and very racy. Not my first choice quarry with the whippets but more than capable if called upon. And I'm sure if worked on them regular a small one would get smashed up more often than not. Most whippets are more than willing ti face a fox and got the pace to catch em early a good terrier or another whippet run-in with it will show you some good sport. Yis Jonny Quote Link to post
