hi all been granted my fac for 22 and 223 was wondering on advice on what make 223 i should get for fox muntjac and chinese water deer

I think the simple answer to this one is, get the best you can afford and you're comfortable with.

 

I've had the same Lee Enfield .308 for over twenty five years and it was a .303 before then.

 

Try and keep to the same ammo once you find you're happy with; I've used Winchester Super-X in .308 .22 & .22-250 for over twenty five years now, it works for me.

 

Good scope mounts are more important as the scope; and you can run into £1000's for a great scope.

 

That should be all your pocket money spent.

thanks for the advice mate i just got lucky 2 i have just secured a job in a new gun shop in my village so i think i will be working for guns and ammo instead of wages lol
