Guest born to run1083
Gonna have to give it ago lol didn't think of vic, been trying all the different alcohol gels and so on its night mare as I like to gut rabbits in the field but as result the smell and blood ingrains in your skin, horrid. Someone told me a few years ago to try lemon juice, sugar and fairly liquid takes smell away for about an hour but seems to creep back Quote Link to post

scalesntails 118
wash your hands as normal with normal soap just use freezing cold water smell gone ......... whys the freezing cold water get rid of it? Warm water means the smell gets trapped in the pores of your hands where as cold water makes everything contract so the smell doesn't take hold. I use cold water and one of those stainless steel soap bar things. http://www.safield.co.uk/odour-beater-stainless-steel-soap-p-1122.html Link just for info. You could probably find cheaper. Disposeable surgical gloves for gutting and skinning then chuck the carcasses in a bucket of salty water for a while to soak any blood off them if you're going to eat them yourself.
