Gaz_1989 9,539
My Pup wasn't showing any interest at all at 6 months. Then one day he started sniffing and having a look what the other dogs were doing. He is 9 months now and has given chase on bunnys a few times, daytime in thick cover so not caught anything but he is certainly keen. He has been out with the lamp a few times just watching and he iis 12 months in September so I plan to give him a few easy runs at the start of the season. Don't rush mate and let the dog mature. It will come. I've heard deerhounds can be slower to mature anyway? Gaz Quote Link to post
