Guest john5
i bet 95% per cent of those poor little sods aint had any sort of life and had to join the army just to get a job , i know too many of them as for those that deffend the afgans they should leave here and go help them , not our young lads , change comes from within and i dont think the afgans want to change so bring our lads home if my comments are not liked then tough sh1t but not everyone thinks the same
gonetoearth 5,144
I found the programme very humbling, these young lad make you realise that there is still a lot to be proud of in this country. What you didnt see them do ONCE is piss and moan about their lot or the whys and wherefores of why they are there like you bunch of fannys. I think its a total f*****g insult that anyone cheapens the contribution they are making and the very real good they say they are acheiving by your bullshit views. Get a f*****g grip! I think its a total f*****g insult seeing young boys being groomed by the British army to simply fill a void on the frontline. What f*****g good becomes of this then?? These are kids, they fell apart out there couldnt even carry there mate for help FFS. make no mistake i would hate any one of my freinds or family to be a casulty and i have both involed the programe you watched is uncut it showed soldiers on there first patroll no matter how many timeS you train no matter how many times you exersize nothing but nothing will ever prepare you for combat god bless the lad who died they made mistakes the co admited it the nso admited the mother is the one who matters and she has stood by her lads commrades that is good enough for me WE HAVE AN ARMED FORCES TO BE PROUD OF

BULLDOUG 199
the british army is a profesional army no one is conscripted your statement was that these young soldiers dont know why they are there i think you will find they do if you watched till the end most are still in and will go back ,young chavy kids not what i seen or know young disaplined profesional solders is what i seen , making a differance as the sarge said to them all Name 1 trade you can learn by the age of 18?? ive got so much admiration for these boys, the same boys who said they felt like they weere making a difference in Afgan, also said they hadnt got a clue what was going on in Iraq?? These boys are far to young to be front man in close combat, im disgrased anyone can disagree. you wouldnt be trusted with a f*****g milk truck on the outside at the age of 18. WILF 47,505
My pal is just back from his second tour, he spent Christmas day in a water filled ditch being shot at and on his last tour he had to go and recover 2 of his oppos and the remians of there jeep after they got hit with an IED. He is intelligent, 28 years old and a professional soldier........you call him a dim witted pawn of the goverment and he would pull out your f*****g eyes. I am sure that poor young lads mates in 3 platoon on that programme would do the same
BULLDOUG 199
I see whats being said, that shit will make or break a man for sure. My point is, these lads had no trust in messages being sent back, they knew very little difference from a game to reality. If these lads had been gradually show frontline amongst senior soldiers then they would be much better equiped. I HAVE NO DOUBT WE HAVE SOME OF THE FINEST IN THE WORLD, JUST UPSETS ME SEEING OUR YOUNG MEN ON THE FRONT LINE UNPREPARED.
