Right saw a few of these this morning but nothing to to bring them home in, so tomorrow I will be prepared..

 

Its been a while but from memory put them in a tank with water and lettuce for a week, then fry with garlic, herbs and add a drop of cream. Then order a curry.

I have and they are ok a bit muddy but so is trout IMO not as chewy as a welk but more bite than a mussle.

 

I know they can carry lung worm so you have or should clear them out, these ones I am gathering are quite big and look like the Frenchy ones. Bon appetit

I do realise there were not many takers on eating these but after watching Countryfile last night it came to my attention that these Roman snails are protected and it is illegal to hunt, kill or even harm them.

 

They are the fox of the mollusc world.

protected or not,if they eat the wifes veg,then its the catapult for them :thumbs:
