Big Daddy's brother Max owns a farm next door to one of my permissions. I chat with him sometimes when he's out walking his dogs. He must be in his 80s, I guess but I wouldn't want to spill his pint. Big fella!! :thumbs:

 

I'm also related to Giant Haystack, apparently. We hail from the same part of Ireland and have the same surname. Small world!! :laugh:

They have been showing re-runs of the wrestling on, I think its, ITV 4. I am loving it. There are loads I would love to see but top of the list is Cat Weasel because once on World of sport his false teeth came out during a fight. The other one would be the Dynamite Kid.

 

There is a down and out in Paignton who I was told is Kendo Nagasaki. Apparently when the Police are trying to arrest people in the town centre he comes over and offers to help them

i used to go and watch all these fellas as a kid , they were on every week in harrogate , we used to nick in and watch the old women bash them at ringside with there hand bags

 

 

Harrogate :yes: memories fom there mate , do you remember the odian cinnama ,the toilets opposite the bus staion had goldfish in the cisterns

adrian street and bobby barnes...i heard les kellett was in a retirement home in w.yorks in his 80's and had to move after slapping another old boy...wasn't big daddys brother the little referee and daddy's name was shirley crabtree...

cat weasel,or cry baby jim bregs , mi dad used to come home from the pub on saturday afternoons half pissed up when we were kids ,he then turned into a wrestler ,LOL ,mi mam used to go fecking loony with him as the house nearly always got trashed and we used to start fighting over the change that fell out of his pockets .thinking of them saturday teatimes makes me laugh i forgot how much fun we had .

 

spot on that mate as soon as i read it i started laughing thats identical to our house .the old man wouldcome in half pissed he would have the armchair right up to the telly then we would all jump him wrestling all over the living room even the terrier would pile in bitting anything .my mother shouting and balling from the kitchen. great memories come back
