pegandgun 52
Why is killing a few hares slaughter. Most farmers i know want rid of the hares due to lads going onto there land uninvited and running the hares with half a dozen shite lurchers.I kill every hare i see in the winter months and thats simply to keep poachers off so all this SLAUGHTER is necessary to stop poaching. This is the way I see it Farmer stops the lads having a few runs by getting other farmers est to help catch them so lads start going out in gangs then it gets hotter for the lads to get a run so they start using 4x4 and things just spiriel . Yes the farmers has the right to say no to giving you permission but then a lot don't think some rich land owner should have the right over so much land ( the small land owners are more likely to give you permission) . And yes there is always the dick heads that go around nicking, smashing gates est running live stock but then you get the same types no mater what sport est you tack part in. I know of one estate that instead of doing as you do killing every hare, Got the poachers ( Coursers ) together and gave them permission as long as they helped out with the keepering , and it worked with out wiping an animal out , we should be helping to look after the country side not killing every hare just to stop some one having a few runs on hares pre bane of course JMHO Quote Link to post
Guest Frank
Fair point and as i also course with mates, i do NOT, wish to wipe out hares and dont personally shoot them myself, but, if a fella comes on here, showing off his nights sucsess, whom am i to judge, as long as he has permission, which i assume he has and the area is full of hares, then why come out with remarks like that, not everyone courses hares. Its this sort of attitude, that has fueled the ban, not sticking together. Frank. Edited March 9, 2007 by Frank Quote Link to post

sambo123 593
funny how an inexperienced 16 year old lads opinion can start fully grown men arguing over the death of a few hares. i didnt mean for it to be an argument.sorry for putting the post. sambo123 (you are men right)lol Quote Link to post
