I was talking to Davy about thus at the meet mate.

Davy & Chaz have all the HFT stuff and suggested it would be like a THL on tour whereas meets could be held at different parts of the country.

 

Deffo sounds like a good idea mate and if you need any help I'm sure me n wor kid will be happy to help

Haha, shall we get tshirts made up that say "THL LADS ON TOUR?"

 

Think this has potential for development, but I also think that it would rely on members being willing to travel too, not just attend their local ones. As I already mentioned, the cost of fuel seems likely to be the most prohibitive thing, but if a few guys could get together and share the cost it shouldn't be too bad.

 

This is really bringing back a sense of camaraderie (and I don't care what members of the forum from other sections say about us being boy scouts or holding each other's cocks - which, by the way, I'm not into). Even if there's no competition, I think just having an opportunity to semi-regularly meet up and talk airguns and have a few beers would be great.

 

 

That's what its all about. The only down side is when people say they are going and provision is made then don't turn up with no notification. But that will happen whatever event is held.

I'll be There Bud, You Travelled the furthest so its only fair other Members should also make the Commitment, As its not often we all get the chance to put a name to a Face and have Letch at all the Airguns

and Fancy Gadgets that we all buy. Also a bit of Friendly Competition on the HFT .

Plus a good excuse for a Cheeky couple of beers !!!!!! ,And to hear Davey and Tony "Phantom" trying to Outsnore each other.

You guys who came to Chas & Daves travelled some distance, so I think it only fair that we reciprocate as regards travelling i am sure between us down here we could share fuel costs etc

 

So i think we may have a start of a plan

Hi lads

We had a word with Sean,and he is keen to hold another THL HFT

for august bank holiday.when i get back Friday from north Wales,i shall put up a more detailed post!

 

Charlie and i are willing to do a mobile HFT course,as long as your cost covers are fuel!

Right lads, seems theres enough interest, but as has been said, if you say your coming please try to make it, nothing worse than expecting 10/15 and have 3 turn up lol Mine and adams new permission would be ideal, flat fields, a big wood with a path way cut right the way through with grass at golf course standard the wood slopes upwards from the path and would be ideal for uphill tree shots and the large short grazing fields at the bottom would be good for zero sessions before the comp and also for camping, we could get a cracking course set up on this land, im up the farm in a few days and ill test Wills reaction lol he has large groups of school kids up 5 or 6 times a year and teaches them all things nature, hes a top old boy. Ill see what i can do boys, if other people do the same then we should be well on our way
