quick question

That or secure them separately within the cabinet. Of course with a shotgun, adding another isn't much of an issue as long as the FEO is happy you have the space. In theory you can borrow your dads guns for 72 hours without putting them on your cert, so it might not be necessary, but it's not a problem to do and it makes totally sure that you're covered so you might as well.

my lad lives at a different address than me and is rifle and shot gun are at my address is rifle or shot gun are not on my ticket. He has his address on his ticket and also states that they are kept at my address.

me and my dad shared a shotgun cabinet for years untill i got a seperate one for my rifles and never had any trouble. i seemed to use his gun more than mine as my girlfriend likes to use mine. as matt_hooks says you can borrow each others guns for 72 hours, the feo didnt seem to mind that me and my dad used the same cabinet when he came round to check it for both of us. some would say better to be safe than sorry but its there in black and white that you can borrow guns so why not use this rule to ur advantage!

eather way this is just what i do and the choice is urs its only a matter of a quick letter.

I suspect this is another one of those case where different fire arms departments take different views. When I was a kid living at home and my father and I shared a cabinet (going back 15 or so years) the FEO said as we both kept our guns in the same cabinet and both had keys our guns had to be on one anothers licenses.

I also have a good friend who I shoot with whose wife also shoots they both have firearms and shot gun licenses and they both have each others guns on their tickets.

This is only my experience and as I say I suspect different departments take different views.
