to any net makers out there

Right, i've sussed it. If anybody else is as confused as i was, all i did was add the new mesh by doing exactly the same as when i tie the first row onto the ring....but using a mesh instead of the ring, if that makes sense. thanks for all the advice lads.

20 meshes wide? I'm no made of money or got twine coming out my ears haha....... 9-15-9? I thought it was only 2 measurements- width and length?

 

 

Aye each to there own but im in this to catch a few rabbits no scrimp on twine

best thing you can do is get the book net making for sport by Harold G ????

i was making 3 foot 6" nets but was losing more than i caught, now everything is 4 foot and not missed many :)

 

 

The only time i would no use a four foot net is in a bramble cover ditch i would go down to three footer and hope they pursed before they got snagged up

22 rows if 48 dived by 2.25 is correct

 

so let me get this right, in lemens terms..... to make a 4 foot net like you do, im doing 20 meshes wide and from ring to ring im doing 22 meshes. that will give me a 4 foot net similar to what you use?

Aye its easier if your starting out twenty meshes on the ring and knit till four foot ,once you can do that and your knots are straight and no slipping .Then move on to trying shaped nets etc
