Some areas near towns I avoid unless on my own.

With clients its about a trouble free outing. (by tha I don't mean encounters with the public just avoid the areas where its likely).

Our roe are pressured (by me) and don't hang around if anyone is around, so more public areas have to be shot when the deer are there but the public aren't.

Dog walkers effect me on the does when I can't get out early enough.

Just another word on backstops not aimed anywhere but 25 years 2,000 + foxes and as many deer + many many 10,000's of rabbits day and night with a rifle and not 1 complaint from the public or police does this mean nothing??

In that time though I have had x3 complaints about falling shot whilst pigeon shooting with a shottie. :censored: A very short ranged weapon.

Muppets is all I will say.

Thats a great record .....keep it going it only takes one dead human ............

Keep it safe before the £££££££££££££££££££££££££s mate and you could go far.

Barry it is a good record and i'm proud of it.

It seems to be you who is hung up about the £££'s not me.

This gold medal was shot yesterday morning by a prince from Dubai he and x2 other family members have been with me for 3 days.

Put that in your calculator mate.

By the way during their stay NO humans were harmed in any way LOL :toast:

John

I honestly hope you make £1000`s its the safety i have ever checked you on.

A Prince from Dubia comes to Yorkshire paying £160 per stalk to peep over hedge backs and shoot a deer in the middle of a field...... i think he is pulling your plonker mate more like Bradford i think?

Barry you think what you like mate.

Who from Bradford would be so cold in june to wear wool gloves, scarf and thermals(you cant see them).(dubia is 40.c by mid morning and they were not accoustamed to our cooler starts).

They were here and have now gone back down south to have x2 more days pigeon shooting.

I have plenty of clients from bradford area, as I have many from belgium, norway, germany and the usa. People do pay and travel to shoot you know and even come to me in little old e.yorks.

You have an answer for everything I reply so I am not going to waste my time anymore.

I actually think now your coments are turning racist, just because this guy is an Arab, he has to be from Bradford.

You are just a chap who has no grip on the real world and even given my track record you still insist I am dangerous and a compusive liar, Well so be it. :notworthy:

I know an Arab Stalker from Bradford

Young arab Deer stalker

A young Arab Deer Stalker asked his father:

"What is this weird hat that we are wearing??"

"It's a "chechia",....

because in the desert it protects our heads from the sun!!

"and works when we are out stalking to keep us cool

"And what is this type of clothing that we are wearing??"

"It's a "djbellah" because in the desert it is very hot and it protects your body!!" and whilst out stalking we blend in with the environment

"And what are these ugly shoes that we have on our feet??"

"These are "babouches", which keep us from burning

our feet when we walk in the desert !!" and also keep our feet dry while out stalking

"Tell me, papa"...

"Yes, my son?"

.

.

.

.

.

.

.

.

.

.

.

"Why are we living in Bradford, and still wearing all this shite and freezing our nuts of going stalking with Yorkshire John?" :boogie:

Just Joking John well done to both of you

Under the high seat the other night.

Now thats the safest video i have seen of yours!!!

Never asked you?

i could have fallen out of the high seat.

every one who stalks with clients/guests knows any accident or problem is most likely to come from high seat work which is why we have to annually do risk assessments :wallbash:

Jon i hope you didn't charge the chap a medal price for that as looking at it its not medal class that same configuration of antler i have seen many times and got quite excited about only to find they are hollow and have heavy skulls making them loose out on the most important points and that's the volume. To give me an idea what length were they from corronet to tip. :icon_eek:

Barry check todays weather in Dubai google says it was 41 this morning. :wallbash: You should have checked that before you posted even an idiot from Bradford could have done that :victory:

W.V. it has gone yesterday to the taxidrmist and will go to the cic before mounting.

If there is a descrepensy it will be made right when they come back here (from dubia)in september partridge shooting.

I have no idea why anyone would question someone with the experiance of John Robbo. I dont listen to many people anymore knowing that I have done more than most. But when it comes to deer I would take in all he says. So if there is going to be nothing other than profesional jelousey every time he posts something we are all going to loose out because he will stop posting.

talk about cutting off your nose to spite you face.

John ,i've got to hand it to you mate ,your patience with retards is amazing .Personally i would have lost it a few threads ago.Loved the vid with the dog and hare .Quality training there me thinks .Keep the vids coming but just ignore the BJ thing .

I would of lost the plot a long time ago! Im in no doubt that a lot of it is just people wanting to be in Johns position....if not, go out and spend your time stalking rather than sitting on here typing negative things about another member :wallbash:

Dont get me wrong, sometimes i think "OK John", but mostly it keeps the forum going and interesting videos to watch, just be sensible chaps, because some of you act like a right bunch of :censored:

Patience comes from professionalism. Through the course of my work i meet many great fellows/shooters also one or two dicks, thier money is all the same and it pays my bills. I have enough of a client base now I can be choosey, but sadly to share things with some of you on here have to put up with the occasional :censored: .

I have actually asked the admin to monitor my posts now and have some assureance that distruptive posts will be sorted out. It does not only effect my thread(and how it runs) but stops sensible posts being made, (and ruins the whole forum).

Some people I think get more from "stalking" me then actually getting mud on their boots

Thanks to all who watch and enjoy.

Regards John

he will be back. if not on here then else where.

like i said some seem to stalk me more then any deer.

unlike me who actually gets out and shoots a few.

this mornings.

FREE ADVERT in case anyone hasn't realised for them selves.

It was shot with an illegal calibre, @ 1,200m's, on ground i had no permission on without a backstop, just to save anyone making wild assumptions. :gunsmilie:

      Hey Hunting Life Community,
I'm a professional hunter or a team member from Gunners' Review, and I'm excited to join this passionate group of hunters!
I’d love to hear about your most unforgettable hunting experiences. Whether it was your first big game, a hunt with an unexpected twist, or a day that taught you something new, share your stories with us!
      Here are a few prompts:
What made your hunt memorable? Any unexpected challenges? Gear or techniques that helped you succeed? Lessons learned or tips for others? To start, my most unforgettable hunt was in the rugged mountains of Colorado, where I tracked a massive elk through dense forest and steep terrain. The highlight was successfully using my GPS and spotting scope to locate and approach the elk without being detected. My trusty .30-06 Springfield rifle, paired with a Leupold scope, ensured a clean and ethical shot. The thrill of the chase and the satisfaction of a well-executed hunt made it an experience I'll never forget.
Can't wait to hear your stories and learn from your adventures!
      Happy hunting,
      Team Member

      Hello!
I'd love to learn more people's opinions on deer hunting using dogs, as it's a very controversial topic in the hunting world. I've only ever used dogs for grouse and waterfowl hunting, but many hunters also use for deer. I write a little hunting blog on the side for fun (this is not an ad, there is no ad/affiliate on the blog but let me know if I can't link!) and I really want to write about the dog hunting controversy.
What are your opinions? For or against, why, why not etc? No judgement, just trying to get the general hunting population's opinions!
      God Bless!

Trip last Saturday to West Sussex in that evil storm, flooded roads, crazy winds .
The usual warm welcome and off out to be dropped in a high seat.3o mins later saw a little white bum ,bins  up it's a  Roe buck Doe and fawn .
Shot the fawn ,nice size Doe and waited but the other  Doe didn't return to her fawn .Green out ,healthy gralloch .
Back to the Bothy, fawn in the chilled and bald bloke to local for a nice nosh.
5am already up ,tea and biscuits meet the other guests and out .Unsuccessful hour in a different seat and off on foot to see a massive buck 10m away. Took the heart shot ,he ran and dropped. This can't be right he was massive, this is a spiker.
Me tit, scope on 9 not 0 so at 10m he looked huge .Nice clean gralloch, and luckily the guide was with me as he was a fat boy to carry.
      Great weekend, good craic,great friends
