CorkyJohn 808
Got an 11yr old bitch here Very nearly the double of my old bitch Corky...same age also She was out of Duke x Puma, 2nd gen 3/4 bred I think. Was an excellent dog out with terriers in her day marking & catching, wish she was a pup again as she put us on the foxes & still is a good lamping bitch although she feels it for a few days afterwards Quote Link to post

Sounds like they may be related. Jazz was 1st gen, 1st cross or so i was told. B had named her Panther before i got her. My lass died recently, i was so very lucky to have had her, and doubt i will get one of her kind again. The kind of dog you NEVER doubted, and never let you down Edited June 5, 2011 by Moll. CorkyJohn 808
B bred her from Duke x Puma's 1st litter but I got her from a lad who knows went out with him at the time, she was 8 months when I took bought her. Had one litter of pups from her but wish I could take one more litter but she's too old now Quote Link to post
Moll. 1,770
They look & sound like litter sisters. Although if my memory is right i was sure he said Hoolie (Not the Hoolie lurcher but a pure) was the Sire to an Irish coursing grey bitch? Tell you what if your bitch had been young enough i would take your hand off to get one Quote Link to post
CorkyJohn 808
I've been out with Hoolie the half x, the g'sire to mine & also the sire Duke. I'd like to think I've f****d up with her age as I'd love to take a litter from her. She's as fit as a fiddle still, had a night running hares (yes I have no morals lol) towards the end of the season, her daughter had to be lifted into the motor but the old bitch was still keen even though she had ran alot more. Theres a halfx dog I would have liked to have used over her if the owner would have let me but also a reverse 3/4 I'd also use. I'm gonna try & find out if I've dropped a bollock Quote Link to post
lofti 579
sushycatcher a running dog with flat feet are more prone to knocked up toes etc, defo road walking dose help but wont cure the bad feet, as watchman said some bullxs have bad feet and you wouldnt think so to see them run. i know this because i have one Edited June 5, 2011 by lofti Quote Link to post

Penda 3,341
from what ive learned over the years mate alot of dogs get flat feet anyway and alot of it to do with when they havent been walked regularly ive got a half bull greyhound bitch and a 3/8 5/8 greyhound bitch the half x had really flat feet anfter a good bit of road walking they did rise abit and went abit tighter the 5/8 3/8 is on her feet all the time but because i havent walked her as much lately she has gone slightly flat footed but i know after a good bit of road work theyll be back to normal,in my eyes it makes no difference 1 Quote Link to post
